Peter M. Carlson

Director

Peter M. Carlson has been a director of the Company since 2019.  Mr. Carlson served as Chief Executive Officer of Spectral AL, Inc. from February to October 2024.  He joined Spectral AI as Chief Financial Officer in January 2024.  He previously served as Chief Financial Officer at MiMedx Group, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company, and formerly served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Brighthouse Financial, a U.S. annuity and life insurance company that spun off from MetLife, from 2017 to 2018.  Prior to joining Brighthouse Financial, Mr. Carlson served as Executive Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer at MetLife from 2009 to 2017.  Prior to joining MetLife, Mr. Carlson was at Wachovia Corporation from 2002 to 2009, where he served as Executive Vice President and Corporate Controller from 2006 to 2008.  Mr. Carlson joined Wachovia after fifteen years at Arthur Andersen, where he served as an audit partner working in financial services, manufacturing, commercial services and distribution.  Mr. Carlson has extensive accounting and auditing experience gained over the course of his 30-year career in the insurance and financial services industries.
